March 17th is St. Patrick’s Day—a day when the world is beautifully enveloped in green. You might wonder, "Why is a brand known for tough, tactical socks celebrating an Irish holiday?"

 

The truth is, there is an unbreakable "Bond of Green" between us.

 

While the symbol of St. Patrick’s Day is a vibrant green, the soul of GUTS-MAN is Olive Drab (OD).

 

Our story began in 1997 with a single phone call from a member of the Japan Self-Defense Forces. He told us:"During long-distance marches, standard socks tear instantly, leaving my feet blistered and bleeding. I don’t want to fall behind my comrades. Please, create a sock that truly lasts."

 

In response to this earnest plea, GUTS-MAN was born. We developed our socks in Olive Drab, a shade of green trusted by professionals in the field worldwide.

 

Whether it’s the bright green of a St. Patrick’s Day celebration or the deep OD Green that supports those in demanding environments, both colors carry a special significance.

While we have since expanded to Navy and Gray to meet the needs of different professions and daily styles, our heart will always remain with the "Green" that supports the feet of those who work hard.
