Achieving "Advance Certification" in the Nara Prefecture SDGs Program
2025-11-14
We always appreciate your visits to TATSUMI TEXTILE Co,.Ltd.'s website.
Today, we are pleased to report that we recently acquired the" Advance Certification" under the Nara Prefecture SDGs Corporate Certification System.
This initiative by Nara Prefecture is a new system, launched in the fiscal year 2025, aimed at visualizing the status of SDGs-related initiatives of small and medium-sized enterprises. It seeks to encourage further commitment to the SDGs and enhance corporate value.
The system sets 30 criteria across three fields—"Society, ""Economy," and "Environment"—that are linked to the 17 SDGs Goals in business activities.
We were honored to be awarded the "Advance Certification" for meeting 20 or more of these certification criteria.

The above is the Corporate Certification document. We were certified for a total of 23 items, including "Occupational Safety and Health," "Health Management," "Promotion of Diverse Work Styles," "Local Production for Local Consumption," and "Waste Reduction."
We view the awarding of this "Advance Certification" not as a goal, but as the start line for our continued efforts.
Moving forward, we will continue to expand our business by embarking on the development of new products that incorporate the perspective of the SDGs. We will also progressively integrate the SDGs into not only our products but also our new packaging and services.
We will keep you updated on our progress here, and we appreciate your continued support.
【Postscript】
On November 25, a press announcement, certificate award ceremony, and PR event were held, hosted by Nara Prefecture.
At the event, our representative, Minako Tatsumi, was invited to present our company's SDGs initiatives as a case study.
Reporting our efforts in front of all the award recipients was a valuable and highly insightful learning opportunity.
We would also like to express our gratitude to everyone who spoke to us on the day.
Thank you very much.
